Become a Volunteer

If you want to get involved, volunteering at Empire Rugby Club is a great way to help. Empire Rugby is a complete volunteer organization.  Without volunteers, Empire Rugby would simply not exist. 

There are many ways to volunteer. You could speak to the coach of your child’s age group or use the buttons below to access information on ways to volunteer.

Volunteer Positions

Team Parent

Team parents for a specific age group will help the coach of that age group communicate with the players and families, arrange for snacks at tournaments and raise any parent’s concerns with the Coach.

Field Day Set-Up 

In preparation for home games, Empire Rugby Club has to provide lined fields.  The Field Day Set-Up crew will line the field, and set up any other items required to host a home tournament.

Snack Bar/Meals Coordinator 

Following rugby tradition, the home team provides a meal for all visiting teams, as well as their own players.  In addition, Empire Rugby Club provides a snack bar at home games.  The Snack Bar/Meals Coordinator will help the Club organize the meals, set up the snack bar, and set up schedules for volunteers at the snack bar.

Fundraising

Empire Rugby Club is dependent on fundraising, in addition to dues, to run the program.  The Fundraising volunteer will help Club officials with creating fundraising opportunities and coordinating the fundraising opportunities.
